Tiller farm Pinery. The Tiller family run a very successful medium-to large continuous cropping operation across a range of soil types in 375-500mm rainfall country in the lower north region of SA. They grow durum wheat, bread wheat, barley, canola, lentils, beans and peas. |

Travel to Bowmans where ABB grain director and local farmer, Paul Daniel, will discuss changes to grain marketing and storage and handling systems in SA in recent times. |

Balco Hay Plant and container packing facility. Balco is a major processor and exporter of cereal hay to the Japanese dairy market. It has recently established a container packaging facility, which has increased market access for grain growers in the region. Lunch |
